The senior team at Midia has over twenty years experience investing in the European commercial real estate sector.
The Group has assembled one of the most accomplished teams in the sector drawn from backgrounds as diverse as Town Planning, Construction Management, Architecture, Tax Planning and Surveying through to Banking and Finance.
Steven has been a principal member of the Group’s development team since 1997 and has developed projects in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Central Europe with an investment value of over Euro 350 million.
As the Group’s Development Director he is responsible for co-ordinating all of the group’s development opportunities. Steven has formed strategic working relationships with public and private sector organisations across Europe including a variety of City and Regional Municipalities, Development Agencies and leading institutional organisations in the banking, automotive, pharmaceutical and biotechnological sectors.
Working with public and private sector organisations has provided significant experience in developing and investing in major projects of local and national importance. This experiences includes numerous successful applications for grant funding and other public subsidies worth over Euro 100 million since 1999 and successful commercial fund raising in 2004 & 2007 for a varied portfolio of investments in Central & Eastern Europe valued at approximately Euro 150 million.
Recently Midia has been focused on expanding its activities in South Eastern Europe progressing with a number of developments and investments in both private and public sectors some of which are now complete and for which Steven was responsible for both identification and delivery.
Experience prior to joining the group includes Real Estate Investment & Development (Inter City Property Group UK), Civil and Construction Engineering (Carillion UK) and Real Estate & Property Agency (King Sturge UK).
