Acknowledged as the world's most successful entertainment venue, the Manchester Evening News Arena provides a place in which people can gather in their thousands to see the best in sport and entertainment. Europe's biggest indoor multi-purpose sports and entertainment facility with a maximum event capacity of 19,500 and a 16,400 seat international sports venue.
The Arena was not financed through the normal route of public capital investment, but by bringing together interested private, public and statutory bodies to demonstrate the power of co-operative, collective effort.
